Country Slate Designs has been been painting on roofing slates for over 40 years! All of their slates are reclaimed from the roofs of barns, houses, and churches from New England and upstate NY. Every slate is unique, showing slight variations in shade, color, and texture. Each slate is hand cut and holes are punched using an antique slate cutter that is over 120 years old.
