Final concert of the season will be MONDAY night! (Rain date)

The Dedham Junior Women's Club and Arts and Endicott are pleased to announce that Pan Neubean Steel will return for a rain date concert on Monday, August 12th at 7pm.  This free outdoor concert is sponsored by the Dedham Cultural Council and will take place on the lawn of the Endicott Estate in Dedham.  More information about the concert series, including notice of weather-relate conditions, can be found at www.djwc.org

Scholarship Opportunity for Non-Traditional Students

A fourth scholarship-award is open to a Dedham woman returning to school (after a year or longer absence) or continuing her education after completing a college degree program. Named for the late Karen E. Baker, the DJWC’s first president, this $1000 award is designed to support the educational pursuits of a Dedham woman who is an active volunteer. Educational programs such as certification classes and conferences qualify for this award.

2023 Scholarship Applications Available

The Dedham Junior Women’s Club plans to offer four scholarship awards in 2023 to Dedham residents. Two awards are available for high school seniors who will be continuing his or her education at an institution of higher learning: the Tory J. Civian Student Volunteer Award for $1500 and the Dedham Jr. Women’s Club Student Volunteer Award for $1000.  Applicants should complete the student scholarship application and are automatically considered for both awards. 

We are also offering a scholarship award given in honor of Erin K. Gorman.  This $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior or adult pursuing a career in nursing.  Applicants who are entering or currently enrolled in a nursing program will be considered for this scholarship.
