The Dedham Junior Woman’s Club established this free outdoor summer concert series at the Endicott Estate in 1987 and we have been coordinating it ever since — much to the delight of Dedham residents. We celebrated the 25th anniversary of this wonderful series in 2011. Thousands of Dedham residents of all ages have enjoyed these free concerts over the years. We strive to bring a wide variety of high quality music to the series to appeal to many different musical tastes.
Concerts are held on the lawn of the Endicott Estate on Wednesday nights in late June and throughout July starting at 7 pm. Usually six or seven concerts are scheduled. Rain will occasionally mean a postponement, so check our website for up-to-date information.
The DJWC is grateful to the many organizations that support these concerts. The concert series is made possible by the generous contributions of local businesses and the Dedham Cultural Council, and we are assisted by the staff of the Endicott Estate, the Auxiliary Police, and the volunteers of the Dedham Junior Woman’s Club to ensure that each concert runs smoothly.
The Arts at Endicott Committee of the DJWC begins meeting in January each year to plan the dates, timing, and financing of the concerts. If you are a performer interested in being considered for the concert series, contact us at email@example.com.
